Are we obsessive? Yes, but our custom-build results speak for themselves and our clients wouldn't have it any other way.

Achieving any dream takes time, effort and resources. This is where the process starts.

Kellymoss works hard to help as many people as possible realize their Porsche dream. But we can't take everyone. In fairness, we never forget that we might be renowned in Porsche circles, but finding the right fit is still important for ourselves
and for you, the client.

The road to getting your own Kellymoss custom build.

Every Kellymoss custom build is just that - custom. But the process to get there is fairly consistent.

Start with an application. Fill out the form below and tell us about your vision.

Use the form to be as complete as possible. Tell us what you are hoping to achieve, and any constraints or outcomes that we should consider.

We will set up an initial consultation.

We review each and every submission closely. If it seems like a possible match for us and you, a member of our team will reach out to schedule a time that works for you. You'll meet our owners, Victoria and Andy, in the process!

Donor car acquisition

Some of our clients have their own car, which will serve as the donor. In other cases, we acquire the donor on the owner's behalf.

Deposit and agreement

If Kellymoss is the right fit for the project, we will indicate the deposit requirements and send through an initial agreement. We will walk you through every aspect - by this time, you will have a good idea as to your expectations.

The build process

This is where the magic happens. You will get regular updates and photo sharing throughout the process. Please note, the team will submit monthly invoices for work completed that will need to be paid throughout the build process.

Test drive review

It is not uncommon for Kellymoss to receive custom builds done by other shops that are indeed of TLC. Our rigorous testing and set-up process is not all that uncommon compared to the rigor that goes into our world famous professional race preparation.

Final detailing

For many of our builds, the cars will get finishing services such as complete protection film application. Others even get some form of livery. But all custom builds get a complete, world class detailing service before being delivered to the client.

Final settlement and transport arrangement

You'll submit the remaining balance due based on total invoices once your new, custom-built Porsche is ready for delivery.

We love seeing our clients' first reactions when they get to see their new custom Kellymoss dream realized. To be honest, we have an emotional attachment to every car we build. So much time, care and attention goes into each and every one. It is truly a celebratory moment.

You have questions, we have answers. Here are some of the common questions we get. Contact us for more information.

Is there an acceptance process for me to start my build?

There is. We are lucky to have some world class resources who build the finest custom Porsches. As you might imagine, we can only do so many cars per year. In most cases, there is a backlog and a waiting process. Additionally, visions must align. We are not always the right option for clients looking for something other than what we feel we excel at.

How much does a typical build cost?

It varies widely. For one thing, the cost for donor cars has gone up exponentially in the last few years. Classic Porsche pursuits have brought a lot of interested parties in recent years. This drives prices up. Even clients who bring their own donor car may not be aware of the process and pricing related to chassis and body work that is required to build the best foundation.

What if I just want some modifications to my existing car?

That is a possibility. In general, we do not consider this to be a Kellymoss custom build but we do offer select repair and modification services.

How long does a Kellymoss custom build take?

Generally, it takes a lot of time for a true custom build (vs. repair and modifications that may take less time). Much of the waiting time is waiting for a build slot to open up. Each build is bespoke. f you require a fast turnaround, we may not be the best option. 12 months is a reasonable starting expectation. Please contact us to discuss your timing expectations.

How do Kellymoss builds differ from other projects such as Singer?

This is a question we get a lot. We love going to the shows and seeing builds made by others. There are so many talented people and companies doing amazing things in the Porsche community. Many of those cars we would like to own ourselves!

Our difference is rooted in decades at the very top tiers of motorsport. Additionally, we get the most satisfaction from listening to the client and then delivering on their vision. For this reason, many of our builds are distinctly unique. Each car has its own personal journey. Our aesthetic reflects the vision that our clients have for their own dream build. Finally, we test our cars to an extreme degree before they are delivered to the client. You might say this is a level of rigor that is consistent with the success we have in motorsports.
