Kellymoss Honored with Prestigious Jim Cook Award by SRO Motorsports Group

October 14, 2026

Kellymoss team celebrates victory at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with trophy.

Recognition celebrates Kellymoss’s contributions to motorsports, commitment to developing talent, and dedication to creating opportunities beyond the racetrack.

Kellymoss is proud to announce that it has been honored with the Jim Cook Award by SRO Motorsports Group, recognizing the organization’s positive impact on the motorsports community.

Presented during the SRO season finale weekend, the recognition holds special meaning for an organization that has long believed success in motorsports should be measured by more than trophies and championships.

For Kellymoss, racing has always been about pursuing excellence while building something greater: developing people, expanding opportunity, and leaving the sport stronger for future generations.

“Racing is what brings us together, but the impact we have on people is what makes it meaningful,” said Victoria Thomas, Principal and Chief Business Officer of Kellymoss. “Andy and I have always believed we have a responsibility to use the platform motorsports gives us to create opportunities, develop people, and contribute to the future of this sport. To have that commitment recognized by SRO is an extraordinary honor, and one we share with every member of our team.”

Creating Opportunity Through Representation

One of the most meaningful examples of that commitment was demonstrated in Kellymoss’s 2026 Pirelli GT4 America program, where women represented 50 percent of the team’s original six driver lineup.

Loni Unser, Ashley Freiberg, and Erika Hoffmann each found a competitive home within the SRO paddock, advancing their careers while demonstrating the talent, determination, and professionalism that define the next generation of motorsports.

Through its participation in the Porsche Mobil 1 Female Driver Program and its own Race Forward: Be Your Own Hero initiative, Kellymoss is working to create meaningful pathways for women in racing while inspiring young people to see opportunities they may never have imagined for themselves.

“Having three incredibly talented women representing half of our GT4 driver lineup was something we were exceptionally proud of,” Thomas shared. “Not because they are women, but because they earned their place on a highly competitive grid. Representation matters, and when young girls see women like Loni, Ashley, and Erika competing at this level, it changes what they believe is possible for themselves.”

SRO’s competitive environment has provided a valuable platform for these drivers to continue developing their skills, gaining experience, and demonstrating that opportunity and performance belong together.

Building a Legacy Beyond the Podium

With a history deeply rooted in Porsche motorsports, Kellymoss has grown into a nationally recognized racing organization competing across multiple professional championships.

Yet the organization’s mission extends well beyond competition.

Through driver development, educational initiatives, and community outreach, partnerships with the Girl Scouts and Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Kellymoss is introducing young people to the many opportunities motorsports offers, from engineering and technical careers to leadership, business, and professional racing.

Programs such as Be Your Own Hero reflect the belief that exposure creates possibility, and that motorsports can serve as a powerful platform to build confidence, resilience, and ambition.

“We are incredibly proud of what our team accomplishes on the track, but some of our most meaningful victories will never appear on a timing sheet,” Thomas added. “They are found in the confidence someone gains, the career someone discovers, or the opportunity someone receives because they became part of this community.”

A Shared Commitment to the Future of Motorsports

Kellymoss extends its sincere gratitude to SRO Motorsports Group for this recognition and for providing a platform where competitive excellence, professional development, and meaningful progress can thrive together.

“We believe the greatest legacy we can leave is a sport that is stronger, more welcoming, and filled with opportunity for those who follow us,” Thomas said. “This recognition means a tremendous amount to Andy, me, and our entire Kellymoss family. It reinforces why we do what we do, and inspires us to continue building something that matters long after the checkered flag falls.”

As Kellymoss looks toward the future, the Jim Cook Award serves as a meaningful acknowledgment of the organization’s commitment to pursuing excellence, investing in people, and making a lasting difference in motorsports.
