MADISON, Wis. (July 8, 2015) –
The Kelly Moss Motorsports team looks to continue its recent success as it heads to Canada for Rounds 7 and 8 of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama July 9-12 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario.

The team hits the road again less than two weeks after earning nine podium finishes between both the Pirelli World Challenge Championship GT Cup and the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama series on the last weekend of June at Road America and Watkins Glen International, respectively.28480053

One of those podiums came from Jesse Lazare, Kelly Moss’ young star. With a second- and fourth-place performance in Rounds 5 and 6 of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama at Watkins Glen, Lazare reclaimed the Platinum Cup Drivers Championship points lead and helped retain the Platinum Cup Team Championship points lead for Kelly Moss.

Lazare, 18, from Montreal, will look to continue his solid performance and extend his lead in his home race. CTMP

Lazare knows CTMP – located a 4 ½-hour drive from his home – well. He earned his first career Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama overall win last year in Round 10 at the 10-turn, 2.459-mile (3.957 km) circuit.

28479993Jay Patel and Bill Peluchiwski will join Lazare on track this weekend at CTMP for Kelly Moss. Both drivers will participate in both the Platinum and Platinum Masters classes.

Like Lazare, Patel and Peluchiwski each also earned a podium finish at Watkins Glen International during Rounds 5 and 6.

Patel has enjoyed success at CTMP, earning a second-place Platinum Masters Championship finish in 2014. He sits in second place in the Platinum Masters Championship standings, with Peluchiwski in fourth.

Qualifying for Rounds 7 and 8 of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama will begin at 8 a.m. (ET) Saturday, July 11, with Round 7 following at 11:25 a.m. The second 45-minute sprint race will begin at 9:40 a.m. Sunday.

Both rounds will be streamed live at IMSA.com, with live timing at scoring.imsa.com and the IMSA mobile app. Follow live text commentary on Twitter @IMSALive.
