1999 ALMS GTP and 1999 USRRC Can-Am champion Elliott Forbes-Robinson began 2000 with an SR class victory in the 2000 Daytona 24 Hours driving a Dyson Ford-powered R & S Mk 3! The car also finished fourth overall. Forbes-Robinson contested all ten 2000 GARRA events for Dyson, achieving three overall "podium" finishes, five Top Five class finishes and ten Top Ten class finishes. His best overall finish, second, was achieved at Mid-Ohio; he was third overall at Road America and Trois Rivieres. Elliott ranked fifth in 2000 GARRA Sports/Racer points.

Forbes-Robinson contested all eight 1999 ALMS GTP events for Dyson. He finished second, on the lead lap, in the 1999 Sebring 12 Hours. Elliott finished third, on the lead lap, in the April Road Atlanta race. He was fourth, one lap down, at Mosport Park and Sears Point. At Portland he teamed with Ron Fellows to finish sixth, three laps down. Forbes-Robinson finished fourth in the 1999 Road Atlanta Petit Le Mans race, fifth at Laguna Seca and sixth at Las Vegas to clinch his first ALMS GTP title!

Forbes-Robinson contested all three 1999 USRRC Can-Am races for Dyson Racing. He won the 1999 Daytona 24 Hours and finished second, on the lead lap, in the Lime Rock and Mid-Ohio races to take the 1999 USRRC Can-Am title!

Elliott Forbes-Robinson has competed in twelve Sebring 12 Hours classics, making his first start in 1973! His best finishes have been thirds, in GTP in 1987, GT1 in 1990, and WSC in 1998! He was fifth in WSC in 1997 and eighth in WSC in 1996. His twelve starts have produced four Top Three, six Top Five, and nine Top Ten class finishes!

Forbes-Robinson finished third in the 1997 Sebring Octoberfest WSC event and second in WSC in the September 1998 Sebring event.

Elliott Forbes-Robinson, a member of the overall-winning 1997 and 1999 Daytona Rolex 24 Hours teams, placed third in Can-Am in 1998's Daytona 24 Hours as fire retired his car after 616 laps, placing it fifteenth overall.

EF-R has competed in 17 Daytona 24s and has amassed two overall wins, three class wins, eight class Top Five and thirteen class Top Ten finishes!

Forbes-Robinson became the first driver to score a race victory in both the "old" and "new" Can-Am when he won the 1998 Mid-Ohio event!

Forbes-Robinson competed in five 1998 USRRC races and six 1998 ALMS WSC races. His mounts led nine of the races and he scored one win, five consecutive runnerup finishes, two thirds, a fourth, a sixth, and a ninth.

Elliott finished third in WSC and thirteenth overall, 29 laps down, in the Sebring 12 Hours. Homestead produced a sixth in Can-Am, eleventh overall finish, nine laps down.

Lime Rock began a streak of seven Top Four, lead-lap finishes! E F-R finished fourth overall and in WSC at Lime Rock, won Can-Am at Mid-Ohio, finished second overall and in WSC at Road Atlanta in June, finished second overall and in Can-Am at Minneapolis, second overall and in WSC at Mosport Park, second overall and in Can-Am in the Watkins Glen 6 Hours, and second in WSC and third overall in the September Sebring race! Laguna Seca's PSCR season finale ended the streak as a retirement placed his entry ninth in WSC and 22nd overall.

Elliott Forbes-Robinson ranked third in 1998 USRRC Can-Am points and ninth in 1998 WSC points.

Forbes-Robinson finished fourth in the December 6, 1998 Kyalami (South Africa) ISRS event!

Forbes-Robinson finished second in 1997 WSC season points after winning the Daytona 24 Hours and Watkins Glen 6 Hours and achieving a remarkable record of consistency!

Elliott Forbes-Robinson's career history spans thirty years of pro racing and 51 major race victories; Elliott has won pro events during the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, the 1990s and now 2000!

Elliott's first major pro racing win came in the 1969 Sears Point SCCA Trans-Am Under 2-Liter event. He next won in the 1971 Riverside SCCA Pro SuperVee race en route to fourth ranking in points, a position he also took in 1972 (with four wins) and 1973 (with two victories). Forbes-Robinson won the SuperVee title in 1974 with seven race wins!

1974 was also the year of E F-R's first SPORTS CAR GT victory, at Road Atlanta; he ranked 13th in 1974 points after also winning at Laguna Seca. In 1975 he won at Mid-Ohio and placed eleventh in points. Elliott competed in SCCA Formula 5000 in 1975, ranking 14th in points, and won two Formula Atlantic races (St. Jovite, Mosport) en route to fourth in points.

Forbes-Robinson competed in GT3 in 1976, winning at Pocono and placing seventh in points. He also won two SCCA Runoffs titles at Road Atlanta, in B Sedan and C Production!

Elliott ranked third in SCCA Can-Am points in 1977; in 1978 he won two Can-Ams, at Charlotte and Trois Rivieres, on the way to fourth in points. He also won the SCCA Runoffs A Production title at Road Atlanta.

Forbes-Robinson won the 1979 Trois Rivieres Can-Am and was runnerup for the Can-Am title! He continued to compete in the series in 1980, placing fourth in points.

1982 saw Forbes-Robinson return to regular Trans-Am competition; he won four races (Laguna Seca, Kent, Mid-Ohio, Trois Rivieres) en route to the title! In 1983 he won at Kent and placed fourth in points.

An active GT3 program in 1984 resulted in wins at Riverside, Watkins Glen, Pocono, and in the Daytona 3 Hours en route to fifth place in the championship!

Elliott's 1985 effort was split between the Trans-Am (wins at Detroit and Sears Point, fourth in points) and ALMS Lights (a Road Atlanta win, fifteenth in points). Elliott also was a winner in the Nelson Ledges 24 Hours showroom stock classic.

E F-R finished fourth in 1986 Trans-Am points but scored no wins; in 1987 he won at Brainerd and ranked sixth in points. He also competed in GTP events, winning at Miami and thus becoming a winner in four divisions: GT1, GT3, Lights, and GTP! In GTP, Elliott posted point rankings of 17th in 1987 and 16th in 1988.

In 1989, Forbes-Robinson drove a Mazdaspeed Mazda 767B in the Le Mans 24 Hours, finishing ninth overall and second in the GTP class.

Forbes-Robinson was a regular in GT1 competition in 1990, placing sixth in points. He finished sixth in the 1991 Nurburgring 24 Hours touring car classic.

E F-R won the SCCA World Challenge title in 1993, taking victories in five events: Mosport Park, Sears Point, Lime Rock, Trois Rivieres, and Road America! He placed sixth in World Challenge points in 1994.

Forbes-Robinson contested the 1995 SPORTS CAR Supercar Championship; he finished fifth in points with a best finish of second in the Pikes Peak Hillclimb!

Elliott ranked 38th in 1996 WSC points. He also won the Legends Car class in the July 4, 1996 Pikes Peak Hillclimb. He finished second in the Unlimited class of the 1997 Pikes Peak Hillclimb in a modified Legends car.

Forbes-Robinson has contested the Le Mans 24 Hours twice. In 1971 his Porsche 911 retired with engine problems. In 1989 he drove a Mazdaspeed Mazda 767B, finishing second in the GTP class and ninth overall.

Elliott also competed in NASCAR Winston Cup racing! He ranked thirty-fifth in 1981 Winston Cup points and forty-fifth in 1984. Forbes-Robinson contested Winston Cup races (or Daytona 500 qualifiers) in 1976 and 1977 and from 1981 through 1984. He achieved three Top Ten finishes in "point" races: eighth in the 1981 Riverside 500 Kilometers and tenths in the 1981 Rockingham 500 and Charlotte 600. In nonpoint Daytona 125 qualifying races for the Daytona 500, his best finishes were seventh in 1977 and ninth in 1982.
